RUMOR: Apple Tablet Is an iPhone with a 10.7″ Screen

Mashable! 2009-09-29 18.55

"Although there have been rumors about the size of the screen and the different manufacturers providing the parts, details about the device itself have been mostly relegated to fan-made mock-ups and idle speculation. However, today Jeremy Horowitz from iLounge is reporting on some very detailed rumors regarding the device, its features, and its projected release."

- Here is even more about this Apple Tablet rumor I posted about some hour ago. Quite interesting but I will not buy it. I have the iPhone for this. A tablet is too big for me.

Apple will possibly unveil this tablet in January 2010.

Palm Pre gets virtual keyboard http://sty.im/ETrngw (via @bradgal) See Pic:

Savvy coders have stumbled upon a pre-alpha on-screen keyboard for the Palm Pre that was carefully tucked away in the bowels of webOS.

Doesn't looks so good. Iphones seems better. But anyways, the Palm Pre has a real QWERTY.

Sony Ericsson Jalou - fashion phone

On the feature front there’s a 2-inch screen which can be transformed into a mirror at the touch of a button, plus 3G, a 3.2MP camera, music player, FM radio, Bluetooth and a web browser. There’s also a new Walk Mate step counter and an exclusive interface which automatically updates you with special event information.

Another boring phone from Sony Ericsson if you don't like Bling Bling...

Motorola preparing WebOS-like Blur Android UI?

Motorola’s customized interface will apparently be called Blur. It will be upgradeable over-the-air and “heavily web-connected”, combining “personal contacts and social networking sites into a clean and easy to use interface.” Somewhat similar to Palm’s WebOS platform, which has proven to be quite successful until now.

- Motorola is really going for Googles Android OS (Knowledge: http://kb.clipotech.com/android ) it seems.
I think that's the way to go to be competive to Apples iPhone. Lets hope Nokia and Sony Ericsson will do the same.

Are mobile phones featuring high-powered cameras replacing the conventional digital camera in the minds of consumers?

http://seekingalpha.com/article/153198-are-camera-phones-killing-the-digital-camera

- Not as long mobile phones don't have optical zoom lenses they wont.
One good thing though, is that you always have a mobile phone with you.
A real camera - not so often.
