Now Access Twitter Inside Gmail – Read To Know How - I'm using this for fast checking

another Twitter gadget for Gmail which lets you change status, follow people, look at bio, forward tweets to Gmail contacts etc all in ajax-ify way inside Gmail. This gadget resides in your Gmail page and thus could be a very productive tool for people glaring whole day at their mailboxes and Twitter.

Really cool and useful widget. Find it here: http://twittergadget.appspot.com/

Yep, it is working. Tweets in the gadget are making it to Twitter. And I figured out how to view Updates (left tool bar) in iGoogle. You have to add yourself and people you want to share with in a group called "Friends". So for example, if I add you to my "Friends" group (and you do the same), we should be able to see each others tweets in the Updates section (left tool bar). The gadget will even let you filter tweets by who you are sharing the app with in iGoogle. I'll add you to my "Friends" group. Let me know if you see my iGoogle updates.

@kevinawhalen How can I add you to a group in the gadget then?

I looks like it is linked to your Gmail contacts list. So you can add people to the "Friends" group there.

I also just shared the gadget with you in iGoogle. Once installed, on the top right of the gadget, click the share icon (looks like 3 people). Then check both boxes. You will also see a "Friends" link. If you click that, you should see everyone that is in that group. You can also add more user's to the "Friends" group from there.

I also noticed that only tweets made through the gadget show up in the Updates section on the left toolbar, which is kind of cool.
